Blue Jay Communications is a rapidly growing communications, voice, and data contractor for public, and private service providers. We have open positions for in-house/contractor field surveyors. This position entails:
Field verifications of existing coax, and fiber optic plant
Planning of new, and replacement coax and/or fiber extensions
Interpretation, and mapping of locate information
Applicants must:
Be able to read, comprehend, and modify cable/fiber optic system prints
Be able to identify devices both underground, and aerial
Have basic knowledge of utility locates
Be motivated, and a self-starter
