Moonbeam Equipment & Communications LLC, an affiliate of The Richman Group - one of the nation's top ten property management companies, is currently seeking a skilled and highly motivated Cable Technician Sub-Contractor in Pensacola, FL!
This position is a 1099 contractor opportunity with the possibility of regular part-time employment in the future.
You will be working with Cable and Internet SMATV systems and must have an understanding of a satellite based SMATV system.
This position includes a lot of interaction with residents and site staff. Respectful and professional interpersonal communication with all residents and site staff is essential to the success of this role.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Connections.
• Disconnections.
• Service calls.
• Cable audits.
• Headend maintenance.
• Plant maintenance as needed.
Additional requirements include:
• General understanding of low voltage technology, including Cable TV connections and basic Internet skills.
• Appliance repair experience is a huge plus.
• Aptitude toward mechanical repairs such as washer/dryer experience is ideal but not required.
• Must be willing to work on varied projects and able to lift and carry 50 lbs and perform mild to mid-level physical labor.
• Must have reliable transportation and pass a criminal background check.
Cable/internet experience is a plus.
• Experience with Dish Network preferred.
• Customer service experience is a must; customer service experience with a communications company is preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting cable issues is ideal.
• Passing a background check and drug screen is required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record is required
• Possession of your own cable tools, including cable meter/satellite meter.
• Possession of your our own vehicle.
• Attention to detail a must.
