For contractor's with their own equipment: $100 per drop composite up to 300'; $.25 per foot beyond 300'; road bores pay per foot when approved. Bonus pay available for high production crews.
Qualifications
Must have minimum 2 years experience; must have your own vehicle, workers comp and general liability; must be able to close out work via computer using Excel spreadsheets every evening and all work must pass QC.
Other Requirements
Truck and hand tools required. All materials will be provided. No splicing required. Work available to hand trenching crews, as well. Most drop buries can be hand trenched except for bore's.
Job Description
Fiber to the home drops buried from vault to power meter on dwelling. Normally there is a vault for every 4 homes, so must be able to bore driveways. There is a lot of irrigation, and very soft, sandy soil, so hand trenching is ideal, but plows are being used too. The work isn't easy and you must be able to repair irrigation, but crews are able to make good money. Local crews considered first.
