Qualifications
• Previous fiber optic construction experience preferred
• Industrial forklift experience/certification
• Valid driver’s license with favorable driving record (CDL preferred)
• Strong oral and written communication, organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Ability to regularly lift or move up to 25 lbs, occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs

Job Description
TelCom Construction is an established national utility contractor specializing in telecommunications construction and maintenance. We are hiring for an experienced Inventory Coordinator at our Marion, IA location.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Manages inventory for specific jobs by communicating with Supervisors and then stages materials from each job’s pick list.
• Communicates inventory needs to the Supply Chain Manager or Material Coordinator.
• Maintains location’s inventory list by allocating inventory to individual jobs, tracking inventory changes using; a scanner, computer and inventory system software.
• This position will coordinate reconciling physical inventory and following up on inventory discrepancies.
• Tracks, receives and verifies new material shipments and coordinates handling and storage as it arrives.
• Maintains organization of inventory in facilities and yard
• Maintains a clean and orderly shop and yard area
• Acts as the primary lead at the site for all customer material requests and check outs.
• Delivery of material to other locations or job sites as needed.
• All other duties as assigned
Computer Skills:
• Microsoft Office proficient
• Database management experience
• Inventory management software experience helpful
