Qualifications
A qualified candidate will have five or more years of Outside Plant construction management or operations management experience in construction, telecommunications or a related field, knowledge of OSHA and safety requirements, strong interpersonal skills, and a working knowledge of fiber optic construction. We are looking for someone who is well organized, and is an effective manager and problem solver, with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects at the same time.
Other Requirements
Class A CDL is a plus. This position requires the ability to travel, work in varying outside weather, lift 50 pounds, live within an hour commute of our Milwaukee office, have a valid driver's license and be insurable.
Job Description
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the OSP Field Construction Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the work of all OSP Field Technicians, construction personnel and contractors in the performance of daily activities, including preventative maintenance of equipment and vehicles, ensuring necessary maintenance is completed. This position will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure projects are completed on time, maintaining quality, safety and profitability.
