Job Description

Overview:

Responsibilities:
Analyzes and interprets performance metrics on an ongoing basis then effectively communicates findings to decision makers
Ability to manipulate large volumes of operational data into meaningful analyses of telecommunication projects
Ability to understand and navigate various software packages to generate accurate and timely reports
Assist in development of reports to show trends and forecasts
Create traditional and web-based maps based upon a multitude of telecommunication design and construction criteria
Perform spatial/attribute analysis on various types of telecommunication data.
Maintain the integrity of field collection databases and be able to export the results for report production.

Qualifications:

Knowledge:
BA/BS in GIS, business, finance, or related analytical field
Expert level skills with MS Excel for performing data analysis and developing reporting
Strong quantitative analytical skillset with ability to identify and solve problems
Proficient in GIS software:
ESRI Products
ArcGIS (preferably experience with versions 10.0+)
Model building
Arc Catalog
SQL
ArcGIS Pro
AGOL (Arc GIS Online)
Associated Apps like Collector or Survey 123 (a plus)
Python scripting (a plus)
Google Earth

Skills:
At least 3 years of GIS analyst experience
Data Analytics experience
Experience in multi-unit environment strongly preferred
Advanced experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, and related reporting tools
Experience with creating and maintaining web maps strongly preferred
Aptitudes/Ability:
Unique ability to interpret data and effectively communicate to a non-technical audience
Great attention to detail while understanding big-picture objectives and strategy
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment ; prioritize multiple projects simultaneously ; adapt to changes in project scope
Ability to build and foster cross-departmental partnerships to achieve common objectives
Self-directed and highly driven with strong business sense and professional presence
