Pay details are sent to the tech by requesting through email. We consider it to be private and shared with techs who are interested in work.
Qualifications
1. Have a service truck or car. 2) Ladder max height 8', 3) All equipment for installation of system. 4) Smart phone, 4) Laptop computer, 5) Knowledge on how to run RG6 cable. 6) Verizon cell phone service it can be a prepaid phone we have a signal strength APP that we use to check signal. It only works on Verizon 3G/4G with Android ISO.
Other Requirements
Tech must be able to follow the rules and regulation set forth by Verizon and my Company. Tech must be a good business man who cares about his craftsmanship and the Verizon customer. Must be able to communicate with polite skills with customers and CSRs. MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG SCREENING. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE OUR TIME IF YOU USE DRUGS. Pass a online exam (which is easy). Willing to work!
Job Description
We are seeking quality techs that can do simple installation of the Verizon home internet system. A new data plan is set to rollout at the end of March with unlimited data. Our company provides the installation for Verizon and with this new play expect sales and installation to increase over 50%. We had about 10 days of the plan and saw an increase of 70% in installation and Verizon ran out of inventory. This system works in rural areas and in local cites. This job requires techs that really want to work and follow the rules and has the ability to read and follow directions. Our company pays a very nice installation fee and we also pay mileage one way when the miles are over 45 miles from your location. This mileage is mapped from Google shortest distance. You will receive payment for service calls and even if the customer cancels at door or if you cannot find a signal. No other vendor pays this.
We have three working slots per day, 8-12, 12-4 and 4-8PM. We work 6 days a week but if you only care to work 5 days we can also allow that. We pay each week, there is a one week hold back due to the process of payment. If you are a serious TECH looking to expand your horizon and need extra work then this is the job for you. I do require techs to follow all rules. This includes UL grounding requirements. We use RG6 copper shield and a single grounding block. You of course supply all installation supplies. We have another vendor relationship that we purchase from and you can also at some great prices. However you are not required to purchase from that vendor.
Inventory is checked once a month and you ARE responsible for that inventory. You are required to return all bad equipment picked up on service calls. We will provide more details on this. Again I am stressing to any tech that is seeking extra work that we want skilled techs that take pride in the work they do. We want techs that will not take short cuts. We do require a picture pack for all jobs installed. We have openings in AL, AR, MS, GA, TN and FL.
