Job Description
The Field Installation Trainer will develop and drive the training and quality program at the corporate level, in addition to personally traveling to the individual markets to provide more detailed training and supervision. This individual quality audits, enforcement of safety policies and procedures, and the promotion of a safety/quality culture to all of employees working on the assigned project.
Job Responsibilities:
•Develop a cohesive and comprehensive training, safety, and quality program tailored to the specific needs of the program.
•Develop and execute plans, as needed, to become or maintain compliance and certifications with any applicable regulations
•Own and drive the successful closure of all corrective actions concerning safety/quality issues
•Act in a leadership role to provide the necessary tools, training, and guidance to continually improve the safety & quality process
•Understand and maintain Environmental Health and Safety Standards
•Drive improvements in business performance using various tools in support of the Corporate Safety & Quality initiatives
•Participate in meetings and inspections to promote and reward a culture of teamwork and respect amongst all employees
Key Competencies:
•Minimum of two-year College or technical school, or 4 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
•Strong leadership and communication skills
•Extremely detail-oriented and skilled planner
•Certified Quality Auditor, CQA and ASQ certification preferred
•Good command of PC skills, including MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint
Education and Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
•Must have knowledge of, or the ability to learn, occupational hazards and safety precautions
•Must be able to work flexible hours with the understanding that some weekend and holiday work may be required
•The ability to use good judgment while performing job related tasks
