AMI installation technician can earn up to $40,000 plus yearly.Paid training. Benefits include health insurance, life insurance, weekly pay with Direct Deposit, home porting of the company vehicle. And Production Bonuses.
Qualifications
AMI is looking to add to our team of talented people, we are currently seeking Entry Level (Home Based) Satellite Installation Technicians to work in the surrounding areas of Chicago, IL that they live in such as Elk Grove Village, North brook, Evanston, Oak Park, Elmhurst and areas such as Naperville, Aurora, Romeoville, Joliet, Mokena, and Kankakee.
This position reports to one of our offices in Plainfield, IL or Schaumburg, IL for initial training/certifications and weekly meetings.

Job Requirements for Entry Level Satellite Installers
Valid Driver's license with a clean driving record (MVR) is required
Must be 21 years of age or older
Background check and a drug test will be performed as part of pre-employment, must meet criteria (Call for Details)
Must frequently lift up to 75 pounds and/or move bulky objects
Must be comfortable working in small spaces and/or heights up to 40 feet in the air.
Will be required to climb ladders on a frequent basis
While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions of all kinds (Heat/Cold/Rain/Snow/Etc.)
The responsibilities of the Entry Level Satellite Installer role include:
Installing, testing and repair of satellite and related equipment that receive satellite signals for residential subscribers/customers
Entry Level Satellite Installation Technician responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Installs satellite dishes and other related equipment to receive satellite signals at customer’s residence.
Selects, orients and installs satellite equipment per specifications to meet customers ordered services.
Visually inspects installation site to identify obstructions, such as trees or buildings that could distort or block signals from the satellite.
Discusses site location and construction requirements with the customer before starting work.
Climbs ladder to install outdoor satellite equipment as needed to meet signal requirements and customer expectations.
Must be able to work outside in all seasons and weather conditions.
Tests submitted on system to verify that system specifications have been met.
Educates customer on how to use the indoor equipment.
Replaces or repairs defective parts.
Ensures that all documentation is effectively completed by the customer and submitted, as instructed.
Accurately maintains truck/van inventory and coordinates truck/van maintenance to ensure the vehicle is kept in good repair.
Ensure the highest quality of service and customer satisfaction is provided to promote world-class customer service.
Adheres to safety guidelines and requirements
