Qualifications
The right candidates must have knowledge of the underground process as well as the ability to trench, bore, plow, place duct, and direct bury main-line and drops.
Job Responsibilities:
•Operates horizontal directional drill in accordance with blueprints and designated plans
•Operator must be knowledgeable with all typical safety procedures and apply them at all times.
•Maintains company equipment per service requirements and safety guidelines
•Assists with construction clean-up as necessary
Other Requirements
Qualifications:
•High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) preferred
•Complete pre-employment drug testing and a background check, including MVR
•Previous directional boring experience for telecommunications is a plus
•Previous experience in standard and high-risk areas are preferred
•Previous experience in underground fiber and coax construction a plus
•Knowledge of utility depths and placements
•Willing to work outdoors in all types of weather (i.e. snow, rain, wind, etc.)

We are currently seeking skilled Trenching & Directional Boring Operators for our telecommunications construction work in New York, New Jersey & Connecticut.
We are scheduling a full work load for the right candidates who want to become long term members of our team; your ability to work hard and independently as a part of a crew, as well as being trust worthy and dependable will be rewarded with top hourly pay PLUS weekly production bonus AND a $5000 Sign On Bonus for qualified candidates! •Must have Class A CDL with clean driving record.
In addition, the ideal candidate would have the following attributes:
•Ability to work in various environments/settings with moderate to loud noise levels
•Able to work in trenches, manholes and tunnels
•Prepared to sit, stand, stop, crouch, reach and lift for long periods of time
•Able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
•Capable to use full-range of motion in fingers, hand and wrists to operate necessary tools/equipment
