Job Description
Seeking an experienced CAD Drafter with a background in both OSP and ISP fiber plant drafting in the new build post construction phase. Experience as a field engineer is a plus. A professional demeanor and appearance, with excellent written and verbal communication skills is required for this full time, long term assignment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to select from two site locations. The locations are Waynesboro, VA and Daleville, VA. The ideal candidate will be a take charge problem solver with a strong work ethic who can demonstrate leadership skills, and the ability to work independently. Excellent time management skills are required to meet project deadlines and scheduling commitments. Specialty assignments will occur from time to time. Overtime may be necessary periodically. You will be responsible for the final posting of as-built construction field drawings of newly constructed fiber plant. The drafter will also conduct final posting of the associated splice matrixes associated with these projects. The selected candidate will have experience with MapCom’s M-4 software program.
