Field Safety Inspector

Job Description
The Field Safety Inspector will ensure compliance with internal, client and OSHA safety standards. This position assists in coordinating safety training programs and objectives for all QualTek companies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Conduct daily walk through inspections and audits for QualTek sites
Visit with crews and subcontractors to ensure safe work practices
Conduct regular vehicle Safety Inspections and Audits
Ability to recognize imminent danger and act accordingly to correct it
Assisting with accident/injury investigations and root cause analysis
Assisting in changing behavior oriented towards safety.
Assisting in all safety record keeping applications.
Participation in weekly mandatory safety meetings with the Safety Manager and Safety Specialists.
Assisting Safety Manager, HR and management team to identify training needs, tools and resources
Present safety related training materials to classes

Minimal safety experience
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Knowledge and usage of Microsoft Office & Microsoft Excel
Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks.
Ability to work weekends, nights and in extreme weather conditions if necessary.
Ability to frequently stoop, stand, sit and climb
Good communications skills (oral, written and listening)
Ability to motivate others.
Strong work ethic
Must pass pre-employment testing (drug screen, MVR and background check)
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
