Job Description
The Operations Manager (OM) is responsible for the Revenue, Profitability, and Day-to-Day technical operations of the local market. The OM must have experience in understanding cable, voice and internet installation, and have a general understanding of dispatch, routing jobs, and customer service.
This individual must demonstrate the ability to work in a fast paced environment, have excellent communication skills (verbal and written), and be capable of effective problem solving.
Responsibilities include:
Interfacing with the client to assure that customer specifications and quality metrics are being achieved.
Acquiring new business development opportunities with the client to assure growth in the local market.
Assuring favorable profitability of the local market
Supervising Field Managers, Field Supervisors, and office staff to assure that proper time and attendance, routing, billing and dispatch interfaces of field technicians are properly performed.
Being a business partner of the Quality Assurance manager to assure that technicians are properly on-boarded in a timely manner and effectively trained to perform technical responsibilities?
Working closely with the Quality Assurance Manager to make sure that safety policies and procedures are being followed, including chairing the safety committee, and assuring that safety training is being conducted.
