DRILLER/LOCATOR
Starting Pay :$30/HOUR (negotiable and dependent on experience and qualifications)

Job Duties:
LOCATOR
Oversee AND perform the operation of Horizontal Directional Drill for installation of fiber optic cable.
Performs all duties according to prescribed safety procedures and uses appropriate safety equipment.
Setup and cleanup of work site including traffic and pedestrian control.
Read and interpret utility locates.
Vehicle and equipment operations from trucks to other equipment as directed and certified.
Perform minor maintenance on equipment or vehicles
DRILLER
Operate Horizontal Directional Drill for installation of underground conduit, power CIC and fiber optic cable.
Performs all duties according to prescribed safety procedures and uses appropriate safety equipment.
Setup and cleanup of work site including traffic and pedestrian control.
Read utility locates and coordinating day lighting of these facilities.
Ensure all applicable permits and locates are complete and on site.
Measure distances from grade stakes, lasers and GPS coordinates.
Vehicle and equipment operations from trucks to other equipment as directed and certified.
Perform proper maintenance by greasing, oiling, and making minor repairs on equipment.
Familiar with NESC (National Electrical Safety Commission) safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
EXPERIENCED LOCATOR/DRILLER: FIBER OPTIC EXPERIENCED REQUIRED; ROCK EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS
Class A CDL with tanker endorsement with a safe driving record (No DUIs within the past 5 years) and minimum of 2 year driving experience
Ability to work in a hard and physically demanding environment
Able to lift, push, and pull 50-100 pounds repeatedly

MONDAY THRU FRIDAY (POSSIBILITY OF SATURDAYS EVERY SO OFTEN)
