Job Description
Position Overview:
Provide labor support in all areas of outside plant as directed by the Operator/Locator.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Hand Digging holes to locate utilities
• Landscape restoration
• Setting Vaults
• Installer underground couplers on conduit
• Moving materials and equipment
• Transport equipment as needed
• Operate equipment/machinery as needed
• All Other duties as directed by the Operator/Locater
Minimum Qualifications:
• Ability to follow directions
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools
• Ability to read blue print drawings
• Must be self-motivated and able to work unsupervised
• Ability and Willingness to follow all safety requirements at all times
Physical Demands
• Ability to work 10 hour days
• Physically able to lift at least 50lbs on a daily basis
• Work within a stressful environment
• Work in an environment that has fluctuating work schedule
Work Environment
• Outdoor position year-round
• Able to travel at least 2 weeks away from home per month
• Provide support in a fast paced environment to keep the project moving
• Work schedule may include nights and weekends
• Must be capable of working in a crew environment
