Applicants with prior experience in the cable industry preferred. Must pass a criminal background check, drug screen and motor vehicle report. Must have a strong commitment to providing good work with focus on quality. We have a high volume of work to keep you busy year round. This might be the opportunity you have been waiting for! ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Installing and/or repairing cable TV and High Speed Data or Digital Services inside and outside of residential homes.
• Performs upgrades, downgrades, pre-wiring and dwelling installations.
• Install drops, outlets, converters, cable modems, digital terminals and other cable system devices.
• Measuring, recording and determining cable signals
• Troubleshooting problems
ABILITIES, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
• Ability to carry and climb and maneuver an 80-pound, 28-foot extension ladder.
• Work with hand and power tools
• Work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
• Complete a quality installation every time
• Present a positive, professional, and courteous image to our customers
• Accurately complete essential paperwork
• Have a strong work ethic relating to quality and attendance
