CalNeva Broadband is expanding to Fresno County,CA. to serve 2 communities of approx.: 6,000 homes

Starts

Immediate. Existing system will undergo a complete two way upgrade before the relaunch of video and the new launch of High Speed Data and Telephone service upon completion.

Pay

Pay package exceeding $50k annually including full benefits, pension, and bonus potential. Vehicle and tools supplied.

Qualifications

Candidate must have previous cable TV system management experience and be versed in all facets of cable TV system operation from the plant to the headend. Experience with microwave and wireless data a plus. NCTI course completion a plus. Experience with FCC compliance required.

Other Requirements

Knowledge of SNR, Sweep, forward and return path. Construction (both coax and fiber, both aerial and Underground) a plus.

Job Description

CalNeva Broadband has four rural operations in California and Nevada and is adding a fifth. The candidate will report directly to the owner. The candidate will be responsible for hiring an installer and managing the installer's day to day activities. The candidate must be able to perform effectively on his own and have knowledge of:
Cable Plant construction, architecture, and maintenance.
Thorough knowledge of a cable TV headend including video, data , and telephony equipment.
Trouble shooting experience with coax and fiber cable plant.
Microwave experience.
CLI, Sweep, SNR, etc..
Candidate must have a working knowledge of all technical equipment including: Meter, Sweep, Locator, etc...
