WE NEED TECHS WITH FIOS & TWISTED PAIR EXPERIENCE. PAY IS WEEKLY

MUST HAVE A TRUCK AND TOOLS

A new service order may include:

• Connecting fiber optic jumpers and drops (AERIAL, BURIED AND PLENUM).

• May require running of temporary fiber drop, BUT IS NOT TO CAUSE A SAFETY HAZARD TO THE PUBLIC, e.g., OVER ROADS, SIDEWALKS OR DRIVEWAY

• Splicing of fiber drop connectors

• Installation of ONT and power supplies

• Installation may include running or reusing COAX, CATS wiring

• May include burying CATS/coax up to 50 ft.

• Verification of service

If Internet service is ordered:

• Installation of internet hubs and routers

• INSTALLATION MAY INCLUDE UTILIZING MOCA TECHNOLOGY

• Installation may include running or reusing CATS OR COAX

• May include burying CAT 5 BURIED DROP up to 50ft.

• Configuration of customer owned computers

• Educating Customer in internet access

• Verification of service

If Video Service is ordered:

• Installations include running COAX cable to set top boxes

• Running CATSE cable from routers to network interface modules

• Taking DB loss readings at all splitter points and terminated ends

• Initializing set up box for activation on fiber network

• Programming of remote controls

• Educating Customer on VIDEO PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

Skill Requirements

• Experience in TELEPHONE SERVICE

• Experience in CATV installations

• Knowledge of COAX cable sizes and types

• Experience with test sets as required.

• Experience with routers and home networking

• Technical understanding of loss, attenuation, and tiling.

• Working within attics and placing wiring between walls

• Excellent customer service and computer skills are required

Customer complaints must be responded to within 24 hours and resolved within 48 hours.
