Job Description and Responsibilities : Summary Directional Driller/Equipment Operators, are responsible for running a variety of equipment; Directional Drill, Excavator/Mini, Concrete saws, etc. The individual in this position is required to work at all times with safety in mind. Must be able to read, understand and follow company policies and procedures related to safety, as well as being responsible for the drill, truck, mini and other equipment put in their care.

All equipment is provided to you.

You have to read blue prints, be professional and courteous to the contractors we work for and with. You must be able to self-motivate and communicate all details required of you, from paperwork, pictures if necessary, issues with the equipment, etc. You must have experience with a Vermeer Directional Drill, be able to safely and professionally install underground material at the correct and required depth, trench and pot hole to industry standards, keeping safety, integrity and customer satisfaction first and foremost.

Have a full understanding of how the drill works, the locate system, the parameters and distances for locates, right of ways, etc. Be responsible for the truck, drill, mini, and all equipment provided to your care. Understand those responsibilities and take them on with professionalism and merit.
