Cable Manager/Supervisor/Technician

This role will be responsible for ensuring VisionPro Networks internal teams are scheduled effectively, coordinated with the QC specialists and trained properly.
Manager Responsibilities:
• Supervising local lead technicians and field technicians and other individuals or groups as determined by local management
• Developing and promoting a team atmosphere and ensuring the proper support is provided to each technician within the operation
• Manage workloads and routing to ensure proper efficiencies based on local market guidelines
• Managing day-to-day field operations for an assigned team, communicating with other members of local support staff, resolving issues and ensuring no technician is left out later than necessary
• Managing and investigating customer complaints and damages
• Ensuring that compliance metrics are met including Service Rate, Quality Insurance Whole House
• Enforce company safety practices by completing random safety site inspections
• The field supervisor is responsible for assisting with the ongoing training of all install technicians
• Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
• A minimum of 2 year Comcast cable or related industry experience required
• Prior supervisory experience
• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Accurately complete daily essential paperwork.
• Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheets, web-based applications, email, and billing systems like ICOMS)
In addition, the ideal candidate will possess with following attributes:
• Possess a strong work ethic relating to quality and attendance
• Present a positive, professional image to employees, customers, and clients in all interactions
• Highly motivated individual who is comfortable with rapid changes in direction and environment.
• Customer oriented, results driven, and passionate about delivering innovative quality services to delight our customers
• Aptitude to work well in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Capable of prioritizing, organizing and multi-tasking effectively
• Present a positive, professional, and courteous image to our customers
Technician Responsibilities:
• Installing and/or repairing cable TV and High Speed Data or Digital Services inside and outside of residential homes.
• Performs upgrades, downgrades, pre-wiring and dwelling installations.
• Install drops, outlets, converters, cable modems, digital terminals and other cable system devices.
• Measuring, recording and determining cable signals
• Troubleshooting problems
ABILITIES, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
• Ability to carry and climb and maneuver an 80-pound, 28-foot extension ladder.
• Work with hand and power tools
• Work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
• Complete a quality installation every time
• Present a positive, professional, and courteous image to our customers
• Accurately complete essential paperwork
• Have a strong work ethic relating to quality and attendance
