Voice and Data / Lead Tech Inquiries ONLY (New York/ Long Island)
Compensation: Top pay based on experience

New World Networks Cabling is seeking an experienced (10+ years) data communications install technician with experience on medium to large size projects. We're looking for someone who's detailed, organized and results oriented to lead a team of 1-8 technicians. You'll be expected to run a project with little supervision and the ability to build-out telecom-rooms, dress in cables in neat and organized fashion and be well versed in the industry standards and best practices.
Requirements:
- 10+ years industry experience on medium to large size projects.
- Experience with both copper and fiber installations, terminations, testing and troubleshooting.
- Ability to build-out telecom rooms (backboards, racks, etc.) and dress in cable in a neat and organized fashion.
- Clean and professional appearance with experience dealing directly with customers and/or Project Management is expected.
- Valid Drivers license and clean driving record as well as can be RESPONSIBLE with work van
- BICSI certifications are preferred and at least one manufacturer certification
- Understanding of labeling standards and best practices
The position will be full time with plenty of overtime and pay is based on experience. If you are motivated individual and enjoy working with customers and delivering an exceptional installation then this is the position for you. We're also looking for someone with experience on the services side and that has enough experience to run smaller jobs by themselves with minimal supervision.
