Job Description
Security 101 is a national leader in security integration, low voltage, fiber optics and networking. As a company we offer room for advancement, 401k with match, benefit reimbursement, and paid time off. We are currently looking for an experience Low Voltage Technician to join our team. This is a full time direct hire position.
Minimum Requirements:
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, overtime and occasional out of town trips
• Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Have your own personal hand tools. Larger tools including ladders, large corded drills and testers will be provided
• Valid Driver’s License
Essential Skills:
• Wire Pulling
• Patch Panel cable routing and terminations
• Terminate jacks
• Test and certify cables
• Experience in at least 2 of the following Low Voltage Segments:
o Access Control Wiring
o Access Control Panel Programming and Wiring
o Network Wiring
o Security Camera
o Sound Masking
Preferred but not required:
• Fiber Optic Terminations
• Industry Certificates
• Ability to work with Conduit
• Network Certifications
• Installation of door hardware
