The installation supervisor will report directly to the Arizona project manager and assist with maintaining the relationships, training, and coordination of the cable installers. This role will be responsible for ensuring Bear Communications’ internal teams are scheduled effectively, coordinated with the QC specialists and trained properly.
Responsibilities:
• Supervising local lead technicians and field technicians and other individuals or groups as determined by local management
• Developing and promoting a team atmosphere and ensuring the proper support is provided to each technician within the operation
• Manage workloads and routing to ensure proper efficiencies based on local market guidelines
• Managing day-to-day field operations for an assigned team, communicating with other members of local support staff, resolving issues and ensuring no technician is left out later than necessary
• Managing and investigating customer complaints and damages
• Ensuring that compliance metrics are met including Service Rate, Quality Insurance Whole House
• Enforce company safety practices by completing random safety site inspections
• The field supervisor is responsible for assisting with the ongoing training of all install technicians
• Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
• A minimum of 2 year cable or related industry experience required
• Prior supervisory experience
• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Ability to carry, climb and maneuver an 80-pound, 28-foot extension ladder
• Work with hand and power tools.
• Willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (i.e. snow, wind, rain, etc.)
• Complete a quality installation every time
• Accurately complete daily essential paperwork.
• Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheets, web-based applications, email, and billing systems like ICOMS)
