Job Description
To bury drops to company/state regulations. Burying CATV, fiber, or phone drops using plow/trencher from pedestal to customer home. Restoration of property. Connect drop as mandated by company. Bore driveways, roadways, sidewalk as needed. Be able to work independently burying drops or lead a group of drop bury crews. Will be required to train new hires. Build drop bury crews and lead them once trained.
Experience Required
Must have a minimum of 8 years’ experience burying drops or working in UG construction using vibratory plows, trenchers, missiles etc.
Must have valid Driver’s license with reasonable driving record
Be able to pass a full background check as required by contract
Be able to train new hires to bury drops/bore/hand dig/restoration
Experience with UG construction equipment i.e. plows, trenchers, boring, etc.
Experience with boring to include methods, laws, safety
Ability to train new hires
Local to Upstate SC or Charlotte area
