Cable experience preferred but will train.
Other Requirements
Techs will need their own reliable vehicle, proof of insurance, be willing to take a background and drug test. If techs do not have a vehicle, we have the option to lease but personal insurance will still be needed. We will cover the techs general liability. Ability to retrieve and send documents from home will be necessary, including camera. A measurement wheel will be used to determine footage between poles, pedestals, etc. Certain equipment may be provided as a deduction.
Job Description
Techs will be doing surveys for coax and fiber cost estimates for both residential and commercial addresses. We will train to read system prints. Tech will receive daily documents (email) with prints and records; Review documents to determine scope of survey work (Coax or Fiber); Determine best possible route from the closest cable or Fiber to customers premise; Survey required at job sites, take pictures of building, tie-in point and POE; Scan or take pictures of survey drawings and email to home office for review. Also looking for Cable Installers within Louisville, KY.
