Qualifications
Any cable tech with at least one year experience. You don't have to be a triple play tech. You must pass background check, drug test and must possess valid DL.
Other Requirements
Cable experience a plus but not required. Hand tools, 28ft ladder, 16 ft. ladder, 6 ft. ladder, cordless drills, safety equipment.
Job Description
Drop remediation project consists of replacing ACTIVE drops and taking down INACTIVE drops. If you are familiar in the Philly area, you will know there are a lot more inactive drops compared to active drops. Around 3:1 ratio. No customer contact.
You will get paid according to the number of house passes you made for the day. Will work on 1 or 2 streets for the whole day (means less driving).
