Qualifications
Must have at least 2 years CATV experience. Must have clean background and be able to pass a drug screening. Neat, clean appearance required.
Other Requirements
Reliable late model vehicle. Current, valid driver's license, current auto insurance, valid social security ID. Measuring wheel, range finder, measuring stick. Uniforms will be provided.
Job Description
Field survey tech must be able to perform the following tasks:
1. Be able to read CATV system prints and identify all equipment accordingly.
2. Must have a good understanding of ISP and OSP.
3. Must have good knowledge of aerial and underground construction practices.
4. Must have an understanding of the NESC.
5. Must know standard installation practices and procedures.
6. Must have neat penmanship.
7. Must be able to meet customer on-site and determine the best route/path from closest plant to termination point within customer's building.
8. Must be familiar with MS Office, Word, Excel.
9. Must be able to manage your time wisely and efficiently. Self management is the key to success.
10. Must have neat, clean appearance as you will be meeting potential customers at their places of business.
