Fiber-to-the-Home Cable Installation Technician
Job Summary:
Serve residential customers and perform in-home voice, data and video installations. This position will install Cat 5e, RG-6 coax and fiber optic cabling within a home, program routers, and other services as necessary. Experience is a plus, but proper training is a possibility if needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Installations involving running wire through walls, attics, etc.
Install and program wireless routers
Install and program IPTV set top boxes
Interact with customers on a daily basis in a professional manner
Complete work orders and retrieve proper signatures for accurate close outs
Ensure all installation work is done according to quality standards
Report to dispatch according to company procedures
Assist with work overflow
Follow all company policy and procedures
Adhere to safety policy
