Job Description
Security 101 – Detroit is looking for all level Installers! We are looking for hard-working individuals who have a desire to advance and grow their skills. We provide on the paid time off, 401k with company match, on the job training, paid certifications, vehicles for use to and from the job site, and uniforms.
Summary
We have open positions for apprentices, installers, and lead technicians. Specifically these individuals will be responsible for:
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
• Install various access control devices
• Program Access Control Panels and Systems
• Install various CCTV camera types both Analog and Digital IP systems
• Install cable pathway systems (cable trays, cable racks, J-hooks, or D-rings)
• Install, terminate, test, label and document horizontal, backbone and other cables
• Dress and route cable into closets, and control rooms
• Firestop various types of cable penetrations
• Perform other duties as required
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
All candidates must be able to successfully perform the following:
• Proper hand and power tool operations and safety
• Ability to read blue prints and schematics
• Ability to wire and troubleshoot relay logic
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to finish projects
• Ability to organize workload for effective implementation
• Ability to function as an effective team member
LEAD INSTALLER
• 3+ years of experience working in the electronic field where AC/DC theory is used on a daily basis
• 1+ year working with industry specific equipment, such as access control, CCTV and Intrusion Alarm systems
• Must have industry certifications
• Must have prior project management experience and/or supervisory duties
INSTALLER
• 1+ years working in the electronic field where AC/DC theory is used on a daily basis
APPRENTICE INSTALLER
• No prior experience required
