Job Description
RAD Communications, Inc. has openings for Cable Technicians; all levels of experience are acceptable.
Cable Technicians are responsible for installing, maintaining, upgrading and repairing cable, internet and phone connections within customer homes or businesses. Basic skills required include use of hand tools, small power tools and safety equipment. Cable specific hand tools will be provided to those who are offered a position. Applicants must be: comfortable working at heights of up to 40 feet; lifting of items up to 75 pounds; able to perform work in small spaces such as crawlspaces and attics; able to work in all kinds of whether including rain and snow; willing to adhere to safety requirements as per RAD and OSHA guidelines; willing to work on weekends and holidays; and be able to maintain a driving and criminal record acceptable within company specifications.
All applicants must submit to criminal background history, driver acceptability check via Motor Vehicle Record abstract, and a pre-employment drug screening. All hired candidates must be able to meet the above specifications throughout their employment continuously.
