Due to Growth in the area, Bear Communications has an immediate opening for full-time Cox Cable TV Installer in Omaha. This position provides great benefits and is a production pay based position with hourly rate + overtime.
Must have a strong commitment to providing good work with focus on quality.
Applicants with prior experience in the cable industry preferred but we will train for applicants with strong technical aptitude. Must pass a criminal background check, drug screen and motor vehicle report. Must have a strong commitment to providing good work with focus on quality.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Installing and/or repairing cable TV and High Speed Data or Digital Services inside and outside of residential homes. Performs upgrades, downgrades, pre-wiring and dwelling installations. Install drops, outlets, converters, cable modems, digital terminals and other cable system devices. Measuring, recording and determining cable signals
Troubleshooting problems.
ABILITIES, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
Ability to Carry and climb and maneuver an 80-pound, 28-foot extension ladder.
Work with hand and power tools.
Work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
Complete a quality installation every time.
Present a positive, professional, and courteous image to our customers
Accurately complete essential paperwork.
