EDUCATION - High school diploma with appropriate work experience is required - Class D electrical licensing required - Certification for appropriate skills and technical training preferred. EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND - At least 1 year experience in a technical security environment on security installation projects. - Extensive Background Check - Pre-employment drug test

Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Install and/or repair access control, CCTV, intrusion alarm, Audio/radio communication and other related systems inside and outside of residential and commercial locations.
- Perform upgrades, downgrades, pre-wiring and dwelling installations.
- Troubleshoot problems.
- Maintain, secure and account for equipment inventories.
- Prepare regular, accurate, legible and timely system records

ABILITIES, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent customer service and presentation skills
- Technical knowledge of access control, CCTV, intrusion alarm, Audio/radio communication and other related systems
- Expertise in design, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA and OSHA codes
- Results oriented, flexible
- Ability to work independently
- Team player mentality
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage complexity.
- Well organized.
- Xfinity home security experience a plus.
