Rates Vary by Market. Rates up to $70/$20 Install/Formers; $30/$20 upgrades; $35 service calls
Qualifications
Must be able a background (No felonies or High Misdemeanors (violence, Theft,etc)), Drug Screen, and have a valid driver's license. Will need to be SBCA certified or be able to obtain through DirecTV authorized contractor certification program offered by the SBCA. Must have GL & Auto Insurance, Workers Comp. coverage is based on state regulations (Call for Details)
Other Requirements
Will need to have own tools, meters, ladders, and vehicle (Truck or Van). A tool kit containing hand tools, compression tool, coax strip tool and inclinometer is offered at discounted prices.
Job Description
Advanced Media Installations LLC is looking for Satellite Installation Technicians. These satellite installation technicians are responsible for multiple customer visits each day, which includes completing site surveys, installing satellite equipment, ensuring a quality broadband Internet connection and educating customers on satellite TV service.
Primary responsibilities:
• Inventory--maintain accurate inventory and equipment for installations, service calls and troubleshooting
• Site survey--determine the best positioning of our equipment for the strongest signal reception
• Equipment installation--place mounts, satellite dishes and receivers while ensuring broadband connectivity
• Customer education--review order with customers and teach them the basics to use and enjoy their new service equipment
Experience and requirements:
Prior Cable or Satellite experience is a plus
• Basic computer skills
• Basic electronics and/or audio/video knowledge is helpful
• Strong customer service skills: friendly, approachable, motivated, strong work ethic, high degree of integrity
• Ability to crawl into small spaces and work in all climates.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays and evenings
Make up to $1,500 per week. We offer direct deposit, performance incentives, competitive rate card and material discounts through approved vendors.
