Job Description
We are looking for experienced and non-experienced cable installers to help with Cox's ever-growing customer base. CATV, Satellite, HVAC, or satellite installers welcome, and we offer training to individuals who are hard working and want to be rewarded for their efforts. Come make some serious cash weekly!
Also seeking super subs if you have a group of techs would like to start your own company we are giving out contracts for start ups, must have a minimum of 2 installers.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Pass drug test and industry-standard background search
- Have valid driver's license
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Must have your own (Truck,Van or SUV )
- Must be able to purchase ladders and tools ( assistance available )
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college or vocational training preferred
DUTIES:
- install basic residential coaxial cable wiring
- Install all service cables to given specifications
- drill penetrations for cables through floors, walls, etc.
- install and/or replace underground and aerial cable
- install digital voice/VoIP/Telephony
- properly instruct customers in the operation of TV converter controls and services
- customer contact and correctly document the services provided to customers
- verify and document signal meter reading for the use of trouble-shooting and confirmation of services
- work safely following all OSHA and safety policies including basic ladder usage
