Need cable TV install experience /or fiber experience . This is not an OJT job
Other Requirements
Need basic cable tools, safety equipment and good running vehicle . No rust buckets and no SUVs
Job Description
We are hanging fiber drops to the home . The is an RUS project so paid by the hour prevailing wage with production bonus . There is no splicing involved . You will hang drops from distribution point and mount nid on the house . No grounding or bonding . You will be expected to run 5 drops a day in an 8 hour day . This is a new build w/o much window time .
You will use your own vehicle but get a 200 a week allowance for gas and use of your vehicle. There is a 250 a week living expense for the first 45 days if your from out of town . The bonus kicks in at 30 drops for the week and will be an additional 10 per drop for each drop. For example you work 50 hours, your base pay with OT is 940 , 300 additional production bonus = 1240 plus 200 gas and truck allowance 1440 plus 250 week living allowance = 1690 per week minimum . Taxes are taken out . This is based on a 6 day week at 8 hours per day . Every job is QC and zero tolerance policy for shoddy work or not abiding by safety regulations . This is not a slam them in project .
