GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Service Technician is responsible for completion of all service, trouble, maintenance and installation tickets impacting our customers. The ST is responsible for monitoring and responding to tickets that are dispatched electronically or telephonically for completion within company specified metrics. Must utilize and posses sufficient skills, training, and equipment to complete trouble, service and installation orders in a timely manner.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for all Safety related duties pertaining to FTTH service and trouble call installation and maintenance. Must set the example
• Responsible for meeting commitments to customers and following up to guarantee customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for applying adopted company policies and operational practices that allow our daily operations to succeed.
• Responsible for preparation of customer sites for move in by completing a pre-inspection, and making necessary arrangements with builders, Installation Technicians and or customers.
• Responsible for installation of all company offered products thru accurate and timely installation utilizing the Enlighten software system.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Must adhere to company specified dress code of khaki pants and button down or polo shirt on a daily basis.
• Responsible for hitting company set metrics on Trouble and Service ticket resolution times
• 8 hour resolution on all trouble tickets.

? 100% Closed in 3 Days
• 3 business days on all service tickets.
? 90% Closed in 1 Day
? 100% Closed in 3 Days
• 7 business days on all maintenance tickets.
• 28 business days on all new home unit installation activities.
• Performs other related duties as assigned and required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Degree: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Prior technician/installation work experience helpful.

• Employees are expected to have their own tools needed to complete installations in a professional manner.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Physical dexterity skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
