Job Description
TriWire Engineering, an established, national Telecommunications company with over 1000 employees in 24 locations, is currently hiring in our Long Island location. As a nationwide contractor of voice, internet and television cable we service companies like Comcast, Charter, Cablevision, Metrocast and Cox Communication.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Installing and/or repairing cable TV and High Speed Data or Digital Services inside and outside of residential and commercial customers.
Performs upgrades, downgrades, pre-wiring and dwelling installations.
Install drops, outlets, converters, cable modems, digital terminals and other cable system devices.
Measuring, recording and determining cable signals
Troubleshooting problems.
Maintaining, securing and accounting for equipment inventories.
Preparing regular, accurate, legible and timely cable system records.
ABILITIES, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
Ability to Carry and climb and maneuver an 80-pound, 28-foot extension ladder. Work with hand and power tools.
Work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
Complete a quality installation every time.
Present a positive, professional, and courteous image to our customers
Accurately complete essential paperwork.
Have a strong work ethic relating to quality and attendance.
EDUCATION:
High school graduate or equivalent
EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND:
