Qualifications
A Thorough understanding of Hybrid Fiber Coax Plant Operation, DOCSIS 3 Triple Play Services, Rough Balancing, System Sweep of Forward and Return Plant, Ingress Detection and Repair, and Routine Service System service. Must be motivated, customer service oriented and a Team Player.
Other Requirements
A Pre-Employment Drug Screening and Physical will be required, as well as a valid Massachusetts Drivers License.

CATV Maintenance Technician
Responsibilities include working knowledge of cable trunk and distribution system – includes system sweep and balancing of forward and return plant. Other duties include cable splicing and construction. Knowledge of cable modem set up and troubleshooting a plus. When necessary, must handle service calls and other CATV work. On Call Rotation and Emergency Call in when required. It is preferred that the ideal candidate have five years of related cable maintenance technical experience.
