Qualifications
Good communication skills. Looking for technicians who are trained in DISH, Directv and Cable Network installation. Hughes/ViaSat is a plus.
Other Requirements
Must have truck or van. Need all industry tools. Can provide meter and tools if needed.
Job Description
1. Plans installations by evaluating location, locating line of sight, laying-out equipment and wiring plan.
2. Establishes satellite system by installing dish and receivers, running and pulling cable, programming and calibrating equipment, adhering to codes, regulations and standards.
3. Verifies system by testing equipment and connections; identifying and correcting problems.
4. Activate the customer's service and incorporate customers existing equipment.
5. Maintains records by documenting installation, service and repairs.
6. Repairs service by listening to customer's description of problems, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing problems by replacing and/or upgrading components.
7. Communicate with the customer and ensure that the customer thoroughly understands how to work the system.
