• High School Diploma or College • Knowledge of local & state construction codes. • Knowledge of using MS Word & Excel. • Must have a current, valid, unrestricted driver's license & meet Kanaan Communications driving criteria guidelines. • Must be able to pass a comprehensive Background Check & Drug Test.
Job Description
PURPOSE:
Responsible for performing site survey work for aerial, underground and Metro E cable projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Each of the functions listed below have depth which for purposes of this general description, are not listed. Essential responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Must be able to read and understand network design maps.
• Obtain permits for construction, aerial, underground and Metro E when required.
• Prepare daily production log.
• Assist in coordinate between Kanaan Communications and local utilities
• Prepares documentation for permits when required.
• Meet with developers, associations and home or business owners to discuss client's plans when necessary.
• Scheduling plant related activities for construction and / or maintenance.
• Submit reports on all Site Survey activity, daily, weekly and monthly as required.
• Attend training classes for new technology and safety as required.
REQUISITE SKILLS and KNOWLEDGE:
• Able to perform all duties of Site surveys in aerial, underground and Metro E.
• Must be able to read & understand network design maps.
• Experience in aerial, underground and Metro E Design and Planning.
• Experience in aerial, underground and Metro E. Construction.
