Job Description

Campus Televideo, the leading provider of satellite delivered cable television services to Colleges and Universities seeks an energetic, self managed individual to maintain fiber, and hybrid fiber/coax SMATV cable systems. Cable TV, satellite TV and fiber optic experience required. This position is in the Charlotte, NC extended Southeastern region including North Carolina, South Carolina, and southern Virginia. This individual will be responsible for performing scheduled maintenance visits at assigned locations insuring all system technical specifications meet or exceed company and FCC requirements. Must have working knowledge of head end and RF/ fiber optic distribution systems. Must be motivated and able to work without direct supervision. Must possess and maintain a professional appearance. Must possess good written and verbal skills. Must be capable of close interaction with customers and staff. Must possess a valid driving license with a clean record. Must be able to lift 75+ lbs. and drive long distances. Travel and overnight travel required. SCTE and or SBCA certifications a plus.
5+ years experience required.
This is a full time company position with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision and optional 401K.

Job duties and responsibilities include:

• Establishing and/or maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction at all customer locations.
• Assuring all assigned accounts meet or exceed company and FCC specifications.
• Scheduling and performing routine maintenance as required at assigned locations including storing and downloading information to be used in providing reports to the customer.
• Performing signal leakage testing (CLI) as required at all assigned locations.
• Maintaining accurate paperwork for FCC and Customer Filings
• Maintaining accurate records on equipment inventories
• Respond to outage situations at assigned or other customer locations as needed.
• Perform service calls, including in room repairs when required
• Provide telephone or onsite support or perform tasks at other customer locations as needed.
• Update customer service department on all outage or service call resolutions in a timely manner
• Assist other departments as needed
