As fast as you can pass a background a drug screen
Pay
between $1.9 and $2.10 a point, depending on experience. (WI pays task) Pay is two weeks out and payed every Friday after. Pay breakdowns/detail provided every week. Never have to worry about if or when you will be paid or if the check will cash
Qualifications
Prior experience with Cable or technical background. Meter needed capable of return ingress, Docsis 2.0 or above and read both digital and analog channels. (Meter and Tools can be leased/payroll deducted) Lodging will be provided for traveling techs for the first 3 weeks until a paycheck is received.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities
• Learns to perform installations duties:
o Reconnects
o Disconnects
o Re locations
o Pre-wiring
o Standard aerial/underground installations
o Monitors and corrects leakage on customer drops
o Non-pays
o Change outs -- Swapping/Upgrading equipment
o Residential post wiring
o Maintains levels and controls of installation and equipment as required
• Promotes good customer and community relations in accordance with established company policy and procedure
• Operate basic hand and power tools, trenching equipment and test equipment needed to complete installations
• Operate and maintain personal vehicle (truck, van or other capable of transporting ladders) with local laws and company policy
• Completes work in a safe manner at all times
• Receives work orders from supervisor and routes/organizes orders in an efficient manner, ensuring all customer scheduled appointments are met within established time frame
• Maintains a "Team Player" attitude and picks up extra work when requested
• Updates dispatch department regarding status of each work order after each job and daily progress
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
• Requires positive, courteous and pleasant face to face interpersonal skills when working with customers
• Requires valid Driver's License and proof of insurance
• Must be able to climb utility poles and ladders up to 28ft, operate trenching equipment and hand and power tools
• Able to lift at least 70 lbs.
• Good verbal and written communication
• Must be able and willing to work a flexible work schedule
• Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold, crawl spaces, etc.)
• Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal, driving and drug screen
• Previous broadband installation experience strongly preferred but not required
