Hotwire Communications is a very fast-paced cutting edge technology company that provides triple play telecommunication services to residential and businesses customers. Hotwire clientele ranges from college students to young professionals to high level executives to retirement communities.

Hotwire Communication is seeking part time Cable Television Installer / Technicians with SBCA certification and/or in depth knowledge of satellite television installation or combined in triple play (TV, Internet & Phone) installations. Candidates must have personal vehicle and required hand tools.

The Part Time Cable Television Installer / technician are responsible for the following:

Installation of new services (TV, Internet & Phone).
Respond to and work trouble tickets (TV, Internet & Phone).
Support and work maintenance activities.
Responsible for monitoring and responding to tickets that are dispatched electronically or telephonically within specified service levels.
Must utilize and poses sufficient skills, training, and equipment to complete trouble, service and installation orders in a timely manner.
The Part Time technician will work a maximum of 27 hours per week with no benefits provided.
The hours worked not to exceed 27 per work week.
The Part Time technician will provide their own transportation including any fuel usage. Typically, the coverage area is within close proximity to technicians home so the fuel consumption is relatively low.
Familiar w/ Cat5, Coax cable

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Laptop and cell phone will be provided. Onsite training will be provided along with access to the dispatch system and other necessary software.
Responsible for all Safety related duties pertaining to cable TV service and trouble call installation and maintenance.
Responsible for meeting commitments to customers and following up to guarantee customer satisfaction.
Responsible for applying adopted company policies and operational practices that allow our daily operations to succeed.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Must adhere to company specified dress code of khaki pants and button down or polo shirt on a daily basis.
Responsible for meeting company metrics on Trouble and Service ticket resolution times as follows:
o 8 hour resolution on all trouble tickets.
o 95% Closed in 1 Day
o 100% Closed in 3 Days
o 3 business days on all service tickets.
o 90% Closed in 1 Day
o 100% Closed in 3 Days
o 7 business days on all maintenance tickets.
o 28 business days on all new home unit installation activities.
o Performs other related duties as assigned and required

Degree: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Prior technician/installation work experience helpful.

Physical dexterity skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
