Job Description
Tri Wire Engineering Solutions Inc. is a significant and growing company in the telecommunications installation business. We are a nationwide contractor of voice, internet and television cable. TriWire has immediate openings for alarm technicians with at least 1-3 years experience. The perfect candidate would have experience working on security systems, fire alarm systems, card access, and CCTV.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Install and/or repair cable TV and High Speed Data or Digital Services inside and outside of residential and commercial customers.
- Perform upgrades, downgrades, pre-wiring and dwelling installations.
- Install drops, outlets, converters, cable modems, digital terminals and other cable system devices.
- Measure, record and determine cable signals
- Troubleshoot problems.
- Maintain, secure and account for equipment inventories.
- Prepare regular, accurate, legible and timely cable system records
ABILITIES, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent customer service and presentation skills
- Technical knowledge of access control, CCTV, intrusion alarm, Audio/radio communication and other related systems
- Expertise in design, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA and OSHA codes
- Results oriented, flexible
- Ability to work independently
- Team player mentality
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage complexity.
- Well organized.
- Xfinity home security experience a plus.
