Hourly Rate paid by Prime Contractor will be an hourly salary rat from $25 to $29 an hour Based on experience) Time and a half for overtime - 401 K -- paid time off for vacations, personal days, and sick days.
Qualifications
Must have well rounded background in the Cable Industry. Must have experience in reading and understanding Cable plant maps. Must be fast on computers!-- Must be computer literate including proficiencies with Microsoft Word and Excel programs. Having field underground locate experience a Plus!
Other Requirements
Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening test. Must provide reliable industry related references. Must be a good communicator with a sense of humor and a strong team player
Job Description
The position will entail working at a desk station and clearing underground locates using compeer mapping programs that show street maps with an overlay of the Cable company's plant. The person employed will also be cross trained in completing desk top surveys on commercial buildings and businesses to provide fiber to company's IT rooms. There will be more job duties as situations dictate. You will be working with a whole team of construction coordinators.
