Summary: The individual in this position will work with the Area Manager, field employees, and sub-contractors to meet and exceed company and customer expectations. The main focus of the job is to assist the Area Manager by providing field support and guidance to the field employees and sub-contractors. The OSP Field Supervisor should expect to spend the majority of their time in the field but should also expect to complete administrative tasks as required by the Manager. Although the work schedule does vary, the Field Supervisor may be required to work excessive hours especially during peak work load periods. The primary goals of the OSP Field Supervisor will include and not be limited to driving revenue, efficiency, quality control, safety, and job coordination and completion.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for the following tasks:

? Assures the competent performance of all staff as reflected in completion rates, quality data, and income growth. This includes the performance review process as a part of the continuing improvement process. This also includes making sure disciplinary action is taken when necessary and that it is done according to guidelines.

? Assures the timely completion and submission of all required reports.

? Required to maintain appropriate and adequate communication throughout the OBU staff and with the entire company, as needed. Formal communications with management must be utilized as specified.

? Maintains daily, weekly, or necessary contact with the customer’s key stakeholders to assure continual relationship improvement and satisfaction of customer expectations.

? Required to maintain appropriate and adequate communication throughout the OBU staff and with the entire company, as needed. Formal communications with management must be utilized as specified.

? Identifies trends within the OBU and works with the other members of the management team to implements plans to avert any degradation of the OBU performance, such as vehicle incidents, property damages, quality issues and customer complaints.

? Participates in accident investigations with fleet management personnel. Determines degree of preventability and coaches and counsels employee in regards to safe driving habits. Looks for opportunities to reduce accident related costs.

? Assures employee compliance with all company employee, safety, and customer rules and policies. This includes, but is not limited to, appearance codes and vehicle policies.

? Assists with fleet fuel and maintenance programs to assure proper usage and cost control for his/her OBU.

? Creates and promotes a team environment as reflected in participative and interactive management inside and outside the OBU.

? Assist OSP field employees as needed.

? Work to develop OSP field employees through coaching and on-site assistance.

? Performs all other duties as assigned.

• Excellent computer skills are desired – Excel, Word etc.

Physical Requirements:

• Candidate must be able to stand, sit, bend, kneel, push/pull, reach, and stretch 30-50% of time.
• Candidate must be able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds.
• Candidate must be able to work aloft, at heights between 3 and 20 ft (ladders, rooftops, poles, and/or platforms).
