We have Quad play work in all of our areas, we are increasing by 50 techs in all markets. If you are a triple play tech, we will train you on security. Triple play and Commercial techs also needed.

Other Requirements

Must pass the usual, background, drug, DL screens. We will not accept felonies or Class A misdemeanors of any kind. Smart phone needed.

Job Description

I know most of the Bar viewers don't need it, but this is our local ad that we have posted, it provides a little extra information. We are training inexperienced techs too.


We are hiring Quad and Triple Play Technicians. What that means is that we install Video, High Speed Internet, and Home Phone Service (add home security to make it a quad installation) in residences throughout the entire Houston Metro area. We are looking for both experienced and inexperienced techs with the willingness to learn and work hard. We are Intec Communications, LLC. Our company is a Partner for Comcast nationwide. We only hire W-2 employees, no 1099 contractors.

Potential technicians need to be able to lift and carry an 80lb ladder, pass a criminal background check (no felonies or Class A misdemeanors), have a good/valid driver’s license (no more than 2 moving violations within the last 3 years), be at least 21 years old, be able to take and follow direction with a good attitude, understand safety first, work when you are scheduled, and treat everyone (Comcast customers and employee’s, fellow techs, dispatchers, management, etc.) with respect and professionalism. We are a “no whiners” company.

Now onto the good stuff. Starting 5/1/14 we will be offering Health Benefits. Our techs average $842 per week. Top producers can average $12-1400, new inexperienced techs average $5-700 per week for the first couple months. We pay minimum wage while you are training (current triple play techs will need security training for 1-2 weeks). You will need personal hand tools and safety gear, if you don’t have it we will purchase and deduct over a few weeks. We can provide a company vehicle to use, if you have your own white work truck, you make more money. All techs work in a uniform shirt and Dockers style work pants. We have direct deposit. You will be eligible to contribute to our 401K program (3/1). This is an exciting time for our company, we invite you to apply and join our growing organization.
