Membership Information

Unregistered users are allowed access to browse the many features of CABL, but full use requires member registration. Registration for a Regular membership is free and immediate, and provides many benefits. CABL has never sold, rented, or otherwise used its member registration info for any purpose beyond this forum.

Regular members may choose to upgrade their account to one of the paid (Privileged) memberships. A privileged membership offers additional advantages at a small yearly cost. To upgrade just visit the Checkout page, select the desired option under the Add a Membership section, then complete the order.

A Regular (free) account membership is available to anyone with a working e-mail address. Registered members can post messages in the public forums, read and send private messages, use the search and e-mail features, purchase employment and classified ads, place free ads in the free classfied sections, and view information that unregistered users cannot.

Registration for a Regular account is simple. Select the Registration option from the Main Menu or click here. Once the registration form has been submitted, an e-mail containing an activation code will be sent to the address given. Follow the instructions in the e-mail to activate the new account.

Regular accounts can be upgraded to one of the Privileged (paid) memberships at any time.

In addition to discounts on ads, upgrading to Patron level gives the member more trusted status in the CABL forums along with additional features not available to regular anonymous accounts. Patron members serve an important role in balancing the "ownership" of the site with major advertisers and employers.

Patron member benefits:

• Two (2) FREE regular Classified (For Sale) ads during the membership period
• 10% discount off regular Employment and Classified ads
• Ability to view and use public e-mail addresses directly instead of via online form
• Priority listing in the free classified sections (Seeking Work, Wanted to Buy, and Misc. For Sale)
• Fewer and less obtrusive display ads throughout the site
• E-mail and text message notifications plus other special forum benefits
• Profile displays your Privileged status

Use the Patron membership option on the Checkout page to upgrade your account to Patron membership. 1-year Patron membership costs only $35.00 ($2.92 per month!) and may be tax deductible as a business expense (consult your accountant).

Patron Memberships are NOT automatically renewed. Members must complete an order for renewal each year to maintain active status.

In addition to all the benefits of a Patron membership, upgrading to Corporate level gives the member the following exclusive perks.

• One FREE Employment ad every month during the membership period (up to three (3) locations included at no extra cost)
• One FREE regular Classified ad every month during the membership period
• 15% discount off additional regular Employment and Classified ads
• Specially designated listing in the Member Directory
• Profile displays your Privileged status

Use the Corporate membership option on the Checkout page to upgrade your account to Corporate membership. 1-year Corporate membership costs only $400.00 and may be tax deductible as a business expense (consult your accountant).

Corporate Memberships are NOT automatically renewed. Members must complete an order for renewal each year to maintain active status.

Please contact our office to inquire about Recruiter membership. An invoice for the membership fee will be generated and the account activated upon payment. Ads included in the membership may be placed immediately by using a credit/debit card for payment at regular cost, with that amount credited to the membership invoice.
