Back when i was plowing in drops for then Time Warner 2003 up to 2013 we had to use a metter to check signal. Just to make sure there was no nicks or cuts in drop. Most of the time it was the chineese fitting that Time Warner went to that sucked. Take 5 minutes to check with metter than 20 to 30 minutes to redo the drop. Rather take extra 5 minutes to check than come back and re do it for free the second time around.

What is expensive is the keys they want you to have. Mainly the little skeleton key that is so thin.
