Years ago when fiber first came out, I use to provide crews for Insurance Claims for MCI. Travel time at Prime Rate at all times of the night is very costly just to move a storage look maybe 2500Ft away, especially when you have pole damage, trees down and your trying to de-re lash the fiber.. It's not the risk they are concerned with..it's the cost of fiber, potential damage to fiber in storage loops. It may make your work task a little hard, but it saves funds $$ and in todays Greedy World...it's always "all about the buck"
